Oakland County is home ground. We are based in Royal Oak, and most of the county's land-clearing work sits north of M-59, where the subdivisions give way to the Hillsdale-Lapeer moraine: gravel hills, 387 lakes, kettle wetlands and the big wooded lots of Oxford, Addison, Brandon, Springfield, Independence, Holly, Groveland, Rose, Highland, Milford and White Lake townships. Oak and hickory uplands fill in with cherry and sassafras saplings, and the low ground between the hills turns to cattail, dogwood and willow.

How quickly can you get to a job in Oakland County?
Most of the county is 20 to 50 minutes from our base in Royal Oak. Fall is the busiest season, so hunting-land and leaf-off work books up first.
Can you clear a lake lot without tearing up the bank?
Yes. The machine runs on tracks with low ground pressure, and the mulch it leaves behind stays on the slope and holds the soil while grass comes back. We walk every bank on site, keep the shade trees you want, and plan the route down so the lawn is not rutted on the way out.
What happens to the brush?
It is ground into a layer of chips, usually two to four inches deep, right where it grew. The layer breaks down over a season or two. You can walk it, mow it, seed it or build on it, and there is no pile left to burn or haul.
Do you do small suburban lots as well as acreage?
