Land Clearing & Forestry Mulching in Groveland Township, Michigan

Most of Holly Recreation Area is actually in Groveland Township, along with Groveland Oaks County Park and the Mt. Holly ski hill, and the private land around them is sandy oak-and-pine upland cut into five- to forty-acre parcels. With fewer than six thousand people in thirty-six square miles, it is one of the emptiest townships in Oakland County, which makes it hunting land, horse land and a place people build one house on a big piece of ground.

The work follows: hunting parcels that share a fence with the recreation area, trail systems through the sandy hills, pasture that has gone to autumn olive, building sites off the dirt roads, and the same abandoned Christmas-tree plantings that Holly and Springfield have. Groveland is about forty-five minutes from Royal Oak up Dixie Highway, and everything is ground into a chip layer in place, so there is nothing to burn.
